Sunny days call for new shades!
When choosing sunglasses, there are a few things to consider, the most important being your face shape. Whether it’s round, square, or oval there’s a frame that will flatter your face shape.
Here are a few tips:
If you have a heart-shaped face:
Cat-eye or aviator frames will accentuate your shape the best, as they’re wider along the top and more narrow along the bottom half, which means they mimic your own face shape.
If you have a round face:
Stick with square frames, as their angular lines can help balance out the roundness. Think classic Wayfarer styles. Geometric/rectangle shapes frames can make your face look longer and thinner.
If you have a square face:
There are a few shapes that will accentuate your face, the best being anything rounded. Think oval, cat-eye, or semi-rimless — these styles will accentuate your eyes and balance a strong jawline.
If you have an oval face:
Lucky you, you can wear anything! Just pay attention to frame size in proportion to your face. Smaller features should avoid super thick, large frames, as they could be overwhelming.
