We are so excited to announce Dr. Ashley Toland as Thomas Eye Center’s newest optometrist! Dr. Toland grew up in Michigan, but always had a love for the South. She earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and chose to attend optometry school at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
While in optometry school, Dr. Toland was active in the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists. Through SCO’s chapter of the organization, she was blessed to be a part of four medical mission teams abroad.
Prior to joining Thomas Eye Center, she practiced optometry in Arkansas. Dr. Toland enjoys providing kind and compassionate care to patients of all ages, and looks forward to continuing to serve others through optometry both locally and internationally.
