Ellen Goad, LDO

As Practice Manager and a Licensed Dispensing Optician, Ellen Goad brings a personal passion for creating an exceptional patient experience. She believes that patient care is king—but the experience is queen. From the moment someone walks in to the time they leave, Ellen wants them to feel like they’ve been cared for by a team that truly values their time, trust, and well-being.

What she loves most about her job is the people she works with every day. The staff and doctors, she says, are not just skilled—they’re kind, funny, and always willing to go the extra mile. Together, they work to live up to the practice’s mission: to exceed everyone’s expectations.

Outside the office, Ellen stays busy and fulfilled. She’s been married to her husband, Stephen, for 31 years, and they recently became empty nesters. Their sons, Mason and Jackson, are off doing exciting things—one in research, the other touring with a Broadway show. These three men, she says, are her greatest blessings. 

In her free time, Ellen loves reading, planning home and garden projects (often for her husband!), and traveling whenever possible.
